Food & Cosmetic Processing Hub
Transforming Local Ingredients into Premium Products
A community-led initiative creating economic opportunities through value-added processing of local agricultural produce and traditional ingredients.
Project Vision
The Food and Cosmetic Processing Hub represents the next phase in Phatheni's economic development journey. Building on our successful agricultural initiatives and existing enterprises like Earthly Q Personal Care, Chilli Mate Sauces, and uMbukiso Caterers, we're creating a centralised processing facility that will transform local ingredients into high-value products.
This initiative goes beyond simple production. We're fostering collaboration between local stakeholders, preserving indigenous knowledge, and creating sustainable economic opportunities through the manufacturing of organic foods, sauces, and natural personal care products.
By leveraging digital marketing and e-commerce platforms, we're connecting Phatheni's artisanal creations with wider markets, celebrating our cultural heritage while building economic resilience.
Launch Timeline: We're currently in the planning and development phase. The hub is expected to launch in the coming months.
